While the Gallup wetlands recover from a prescribed burn, I thought you might be interested in exploring some other natural areas in Ann Arbor. This Nature Area Preserve, NAP, is only about a 10 minute walk from my house. Accessible from Hunting Valley Rd. off Provincial, the Huron Hills NAP, has a lot to offer visitors.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this Oak-Hickory forest trail filled with Trillium Grandiflora as well as a few other treats. I will dribble out some other pictures over the next few weeks.
