My most recent trip to Gallup left me feeling a bit like I did when my first “baby tooth” fell out; sad that I had to walk around for three months with a missing tooth, but happy that my permanent teeth were on their way. My beloved wetlands been blackened by a prescribed burn that will take sometime for our wildflowers to recover. I am not sure how long that this process is going to take.
In the interim period, I think I will move on and include some of our other parks and nature areas in my domain. I will circle back occasionally so you and I will gain some understanding of how long this process might take.
