Lilium michiganense, Asclepias tuberosa and Rosa setigera

Warm temperatures, morning rain and humidity brings out the best! Butterfly-weed, Lilium michiganense, Michigan Lily, Asclepias tuberosa, Butterfly Weed, Rosa setigera, Prairie or Climbing Rose, are popping up in familiar places. Take a walk down to Gallup, west of the Mitchell Field bridge and see for yourself. Don’t forget to look up as the Climbing Rose is above eye level. The Lilies will show in a few days and for the next few weeks if no one damages them.
