This is a terrific find as I don’t think my Michigan lilies are going to show up in their normal habitat this year after the prescribed burn earlier in the spring.
Please enjoy this special treat that one can find in Gallup if you are aware of your surroundings while walking or jogging as it is only 5 feet north of the pathway. This special flower will only be around for a week if we are lucky. Even a heavy rain or strong winds can damage it.
I will get some more shots tomorrow with all three blossoms in full bloom.
